Established 1998 as Vector Aerospace is a global provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. Trace its origins to 1940s as the maintenance branch of
Okanagan Helicopters which eventually became
CHC. In 2008 Vector Aerospace bought the helicopter maintenance, repair and parts interests of the UK Defence Aviation Repair Agency (
DARA) and began trading from
Fleetlands and
Almondbank.
In 2009, Vector Aerospace acquired Pratt & Whitney Canada MRO unit in Lanseria, South Africa. In 2011 Vector Aerospace was acquired by Eurocopter.
Through facilities in

United States, the United Kingdom,

Australia, South Africa, and Kenya Vector Aerospace provides services to commercial and military customers for gas turbine engines, components and helicopter airframes
On November 2017, Airbus sold Vector Aerospace to
StandardAero and adopted their name
